Linus: It started with writer’s block and devolved from there. I just wanted past it, but when Dana Lyles discovered I’d asked her out as a “block buster,” I knew I had to work fast. Because here’s the thing. I’d kind of fallen for her by that point (not that I’d admit it then). Maybe the whole “fourteen days of Valentine’s” was a bit much. How was I to know I couldn’t give a gift without botching it? Every time.
Dana: Yeah, I thought Linus was cute. And sweet. And awkwardly adorable. Right up to the point where I overheard him tell his mom it was all a fake. It’ll take more than a bunch of messed up gift attempts to make me believe he didn’t mean it.
Myla: Linus likes Mama. Mama likes Linus. What’s the problem? I’ll just have to tell Jesus to fix it. He’s good at that.
