It’s a good number this year. First, it is my friend, Amy’s, favorite number. She’s getting married this July, so that makes it pretty cool.
It is also the number of years I will have been alive by the time that wedding takes place–eight days after my birthday.
And, it is the number of words–times a thousand–that I managed to cut from Thirty Days Hath… The book now stands alone as a single volume and is not obscenely huge. The very sad (and exciting in a sick sort of way) thing is that I really don’t think people who have read the story will notice what is gone. There was just a whole lot of fat on that steak, but now we’ve got it trimmed to just enough left to keep it juicy and yummy. Oh, ick. That sounds vile, considering the romantic element to it.
So, in a few weeks, we should be launching this book! See what happens when a few ministers take on matchmaking!

Chautona,
I’m so glad you got the steak trimmed! :0)
