Not sure what your tax scenario is, but we’ve been audited before (for adoptions) and the IRS has assistants to help navigate the audit process. Best of all, you can get through in a few minutes instead of hours! Let me know if you need more info on that side of things!
Thankfully we’ve not yet had to go through an audit (they sound so tedious!) but we do have to pay quarterly taxes and all that goes with not estimating enough (OUCH!). Thankfully, M at the IRS is amazing and works hard to help get things going in the right direction AND encourages her “clients” in the process. She truly blessed me that day.
