Did a refresher on Philemon while I was holed up in a hotel in town (protecting my asthmatic lungs from the smoke in the air). I love how you can see things in new light after reading it for the hundredth time or more!

Funny how God says, “No” to those requests to remove temptation. He allows those things to be there to test our faith and willingness to obey. And when we do give in, that is sin, even if it seems harmless to most. Your temptation is different than mine but the brown promise to do as He commands is still the same.
Good words, friend. We talked on this very thing this morning at church.
