From Encouraging Mama to Sweet Romance, One Author’s Journey
Patty H. Scott exudes encouragement, whether chatting or writing to worn-out mothers or in her latest writing endeavors, her sweet romance series. What started as a character who intrigued her burst into her first novel, Love’s Second Chance, when another writer friend told a story one day.
Since then, she’s written five books in that Unforgettable Love Series and four in the Calloway Inn series.
Love’s Second Chance features Kat, a delightful character who tends not to have much of a filter, which as a photographer, might be good… Just kidding. But seriously, I personally loved her character, the storyline–everything. It was fresh and fun and like Patty herself, encouraging!
As a “second chance” romance, it starts off different from most! I like that! She also has a “boss” romance, a fireman, a rancher… Patty has pulled out all the tropey stops, and the result is one super-fun series.
