It’s not just a Beatles song, you know! How often do you hear the phrase, “It seems like just yesterday…” So, I thought I’d do a nice list of “yesterday” memories…
- Yesterday I put on my hand-smocked mouse dress and went to my first day of kindergarten.
- Yesterday I learned to ride a bike with my brother-in-law chasing me down the dirt road to protect me from falling.
- Yesterday, Dad taught me to shift gears in the pickup for him.
- Yesterday, I wrote that horrible drivel that now is nice and decomposed in a landfill somewhere.
- Yesterday, I moved again.
- Yesterday, I graduated from high school.
- Yesterday, I met the man who would be my husband someday.
- Yesterday, I had my first child.
- Yesterday, I celebrated my second anniversary… in the same year.
- Yesterday, I said goodby to my mom as she left the state– for good.
- Yesterday, I learned I was pregnant with my fifth child!
- Yesterday, I started writing Aggie.
- Yesterday, I published Noble Pursuits.
- Yesterday, my first grandchild was born.
- Yesterday…
