the Write Escape…
Someone asked me recently how I came up with “Just the Write Escape” for a tagline for my website. To be honest, it wasn’t an easy decision. I wanted something that was gently edgy. Yeah. Like the paradox that I am (That might just have a little something to do with my personal blog name, eh?).
So, that wasn’t going to work. I was talking with a friend (and I don’t even remember who) about it all and we finally came up with “just the write escape…” It works. It does. I like it even. I like the play on words, the escape part, the works. Of course, about a year later, I was trying to come up with a tagline for Wynnewood Press and finally captured what I really want to convey in my books. That tagline is
without apology, without pretense, lived not preached–Faith
Oh well. Just the write escape is equally true of the feel that I want from my books.
So, what do you like from a book? Excitement, drama, thrills, warm fuzzies? Are any of those an “escape” or did I really miss the mark in my tagline?

I like the name of your blog. It’s a catchy play on words.
Visiting from A to Z. Good luck.
