Gee! That’s a funny letter! I got to wondering (yes, I said “got” for a reason there) about what fun words start with G and how many of them I use in writing. So, here we go, eh?
- Giblets (self-explanatory)
- Gizzard (inspired by giblets of course)
- Guts (ok, is there a trend going here or what?)
- Grotesque (definitely a trend)
- Grace (I’ve never been good at staying with trends)
- Gallop (great fun and good exercise unless paired with consumption.)
- Gripe (about galloping graceless grotesque giblets, gizzards, and guts)
- Grippe (la post-nasal drip. With the wheezing, and the sneezing– name that movie!)
- Grapple (do you grapple with griping about the grippe?)
- Gesture (not to be confused with jester, however jesters do gesture…)
- Grievous (don’t tell me this blog post fits in that one. You’ll break my heart)
- Gargantuan (don’t say it. Do. Not. Say. It.)
- Griswold (I think I have a character with that as a last name. If not, I will. Soon.
- Gloaming (I now feel like singing about heather and hills)
- Gabble (wait, it should be up there, shouldn’t it?)
- Gilderoy (ok, now I feel REALLY stupid. I knew this one. Touche, Ms. Rowling)
- Gilliver (the antithesis to Professor Lockhart)
- Garbanzo (I’ve BEAN thinking about this one…)
- Gibbet (which is absolutely unrelated to giblets)
- Garret (I don’t recommend keeping your garbanzos in the garret.)
- Gauche (don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.)
- Gnomic (nothing like a gnome. Just sayin’)
- Gangster (Psst… this is more about the mob and less about gangs. Which makes no sense but it does.)
- Glorious (I’ve never been able to think of glorious without thinking of “Gloria” of John&Gloria fame. Gloria was most definitely Glorious.)
- Grunge (So, do you think that’s a new style for me? Should I try it? What, you think my current look is grungy enough? Hmph)
- Garrulous (how I’m going to feel if I have to do one more word)
Now, aren’t you glad I’m done? Glad? Get it? Get? WOOT for G. Wait, I’m not? FINE
- Gone. That’s what I am. Gone.

This was by far one of the most entertaining “G” posts yet…
