Using story to connect YOU to the Master Storyteller

Disclosure and Policies

If you have questions about things like guest posting or the kinds of links I share, this disclosure and policies page should help with those kinds of questions.

Disclosure: Some links on this website may be affiliate links, and as such, I may receive compensation from the retailer indicated for linking to their product.

Note:  I DO NOT link to products that I do not recommend. I may mention them, but if there is no link, I either forgot or there is a reason I chose not to recommend it.

Policies

If you’re curious about guest posting, commenting, email, or other policies, you’ll find them here. I tried to keep them simple, straightforward, and free of legalese.

Commenting:

Comments are not only welcome on this site, they’re encouraged on every post.  If you see that comments aren’t turned on for a particular post, please zip me an email at [email protected]. I’ll be happy to take a look at it.

That said, I do have a couple of limitations.  Keep it clean (no foul language or smutty/violent word pictures), and friendly.  Feel free to disagree with another commenter, but do not attack the person.  Be kind.

Email:

I have two email categories to address.  First.  When you email me, I USUALLY get right back to you.  If I have a book releasing soon (or if I’ve decided to do something crazy like add filters that only end up losing all the good emails and keeping the extraneous), it might take a day or a week.  But most of the time, it’s within 24 hours.

And, when you share your email with me (either by direct emailing or through my newsletter), that email is kept safe.  I do not share it, even with people who I know should have it without your permission.

Advertising:

I only accept very limited amounts of advertising at a time and only things directly related to this site. So Christian fiction authors are welcome to submit their book, a 1-3  line synopsis, and request a spot in my blog sidebar.  I will only accept one at a time and only those books that I think my readership will enjoy.

Guest Posts:

I absolutely welcome guest posts! Suggested ideas are:

  • Authors- Posts about your writing process on a particular book, character reviews, your dream review, your research on a particular book, why you write Christian fiction, et cetera are all welcome.
  • Guest Bloggers Welcom

Reviewers- Love to review books but don’t want the hassle of a website?  Would you like to get your feet wet but aren’t sure?  Want to be on a launch team but you don’t have time for regular blogging?  Submit your book review proposal to me.  Tell me the book, the Amazon-equivalent star rating (loved, liked, okay, didn’t like, hated) and we’ll see what we can do!

  • Christian Living-  I’ll consider any topics related to the Christian life and practical applications for the reader to apply. I do require that distinction be made between Biblical principles and the methods of applying them. Posts elevating method over principle (requiring the wearing of purple socks over the need to keep your feet warm, so to speak) will not be accepted as written.
  • The Christian fiction industry- Any posts about Christian fiction and the direction of the industry that would be interesting and relevant to readers rather than just other authors would be perfect.

Please use this form to submit your guest post proposal:

Taking the pulse of Christian fiction

Episode 516: A Chat with Tracie Peterson
byChautona Havig

When someone says, “Is there a new Tracie Peterson out?” the answer is almost always either “YES!” or “SOON!” I had a blast chatting about Faithful of Heart with her. Listen in and see what’s happening in this new series!

note: links may be affiliate links that provide me with a small commission at no extra expense to you.

I loved that God in His gracious wisdom decided to set the release of Fairest of Heart set in Minneapolis at a time when His people would need encouragement and a reminder of what a lovely city it is with a rich history. He is so good to us!

Can’t wait to learn all the cool things.

Faithful of Heart by Tracie Peterson

Can forgiveness and love overcome a tattered legacy? When dedicated philanthropist Judith Stanford receives a summons from her estranged grandfather ordering her to come to Minneapolis to prove herself worthy of his inheritance, she is hesitant but can’t ignore the potential of her grandfather’s fortune to benefit her causes. And the only man to interest her since her husband’s death lives in Minneapolis, leaving her hoping their paths will cross. Roman Turner, a local physician with a heart for the poor, harbors a grudge against Judith’s grandfather. Years ago, his unethical actions ruined Roman’s family forever. When Roman meets Judith again, he is shocked to learn the woman he’s thought about all these years is related to the one man he can’t forgive. As Judith tries to overcome the complicated history between the two families and disentangle her grandfather’s tainted legacy, she begins to form a plan for reparation. But when it becomes clear someone else has nefarious intentions for the money, Judith’s dreams of a new legacy are at risk.

Don’t forget that you can get this and her other books at 30-40% off with FREE US shipping from Bakerbookhouse.com

CrossWords--an absolutely fictional store inspired CrossWords--an absolutely fictional store inspired by a real and lovely treasure in Greeneville, Tennessee. Have a slice of pizza at The Gentry with Milton and Atticus, grab a cup of coffee from Catalyst or Iris Books and Coffee, but whatever you do, don't leave town without grabbing a salted caramel bachelor's button from Peggy Ann's Bakery. YUM.
And if only Christian Books & Gifts would create that Airbnb for me... because it's all about me, right? WRONG! It's about the lovely folks @christianbookandgiftgrv. Thanks for letting me fictionalize you! I'm having a blast!
