5 Ways to Better Engage Your Readers

As an author, one of my favorite ways to learn how better to serve my readers is to read Dave Chesson's articles over at Kindlepreneur.com.  This guy knows his stuff. He knows how to help authors find the readers who are looking for their books. It's a win-win for authors and readers. He's also the Continue Reading

Announcing: The Top Foodie Items You Loved

Announcing: The Top Foodie Items You Loved

Well, I think we've established that I am not part of the cool crowd. Everyone has their favorites... I'm just not one of them.  Want me to prove it?  Well, let's look at the foodie contest winners! I had seven chances to "win" the contest between the authors from our "Foodie release" and... Continue Reading

Why I LOVE Barbara Cornthwaite & Think You Will Too

I met Barbara Cornthwaite almost twenty years ago on a message board. As an American, married to an Irishman, living in England with her adopted children (from several countries), her mere existence fascinated me. Her kindness and humor drew me in, but… I know, I know. It’s self-serving and Continue Reading

So Excited to Share This Great New Service (& Giveaway)

Excited to Share This Great New Service

I don't always recall how I met certain authors or publicity folks, but I remember when I met her. An author I didn't really know well reached out and invited me to be in a collection with her and a few others. We had a great run for a few months and by then I'd made a few new friends. Among those Continue Reading

3 Ways Cassie Solved the Christmas Stocking Nightmare

Confession time.  Cassie hasn’t dealt with Christmas stockings yet.  I mean, c’mon.  April Fool’s Day just passed.  And for all her faults, Cassie’s no fool. So why’s she spouting off about Christmas in April?  Well, because in this alternate timeline, I’m in November, and stocking season is just Continue Reading

A Love Letter? What's In It For You?

A Love Letter? What’s In It For You?

I opened the missive with fear and more than a little trepidation.  After all, it isn’t often you get a letter with bold, beautiful script and sealing wax on the back.  From an admiral in the Royal Navy!  EEEP! Have you ever broken the seal on a letter like that?  Talk about ominous. And a bit Continue Reading

What do Alpacas & the Cascades Have to Do with Christmas?

Well, on today’s (almost last) Wonderland Wednesday post, I’m here to share with a guest post from the Wonderland Wishes’ debut author, Dori Harrell! Don’t miss her novella in the collection and, knitters! She included a pattern for the hat the cover model wears! Isn’t that super cool? So, What Continue Reading

3 Simple Reasons I’m Thankful for Love’s Thankful Heart

Thanksgiving is coming, the turkey’s getting fat.  Please put a storyon my Kindle… yeah? Okay, so skip the very bad parody and let’s get into the real deal.  I don’t know about you, but I’ve never heard of a Thanksgiving novella collection.  But when Celebrate Lit asked me to help with cover art, I Continue Reading

5 Reasons to Read These Wonderful Austen-Inspired Novellas

A few months ago, I got an email from my “Regency expert.”  The woman I go to with any Regency question.  Her question? Did I want to take a look at her Mansfield Park inspired Christmas story? Let’s see… my favorite Austen heroine and her misunderstood sweetheart?  YES! I’ve been waiting for Continue Reading

Out of the Clear Montana Skye with Sylvia Stewart

Out of the Clear Montana Skye with Sylvia Stewart

Hey there!  Back with another Wonderland Wednesday celebrating the release of Wonderland Wishes, a collection of seven never-before-released Christmas "noellas!"  Today's victim... er, I mean guest... is Sylvia Stewart, the author of Montana Skye, the final book in the collection. I absolutely Continue Reading

There's No Place Like Home: Or How to be a "Church Person"

There’s No Place Like Home: Or How to be a “Church Person”

Home for the Holidays by Lesley Ann McDaniel. I’ve enjoyed getting to know different authors as we work on different projects together.  We all have different strengths, so combined I felt like we had a really wonderful mashup of talents and ideas. I wondered if I was the only one who noticed that, Continue Reading

What Happens When Tinseltown Tugs at Your Heart?

What Happens When Tinseltown Tugs at Your Heart

I asked Lynnette to tell us a bit about her "Hollywood Stars." Check out what she said! What Happens When Tinseltown Tugs at Your Heart Lynnette has a wonderful story for us, so let's get to know a little more about it and her, shall we? How did you come up with the title Kittens and Snow Flurries Continue Reading

Can the small town of Berne support two bookstores Can the small town of Berne support two bookstores? Of course, not. Does that stop Anne Montgomery from opening one practically next door to the other one? It does not. Their friendship may be dead, but nothing will stop her from running her dream bookstore. And... she got the prime location. It's perfect!
Except it isn't. If something doesn't change, she'll flop faster than this year's over-hyped novel. After much pleading (and some interfering), Milton and his trusty parrotlet, Atticus (not Finch) arrive to help.
Book two in the Bookstrings series (aside from the two prequel novellas), Clock Tower Bound is available in print, on Kindle (and Kindle Unlimited), and coming soon to audiobook (and @ChristaDelSorbo's) YouTube Channel (where you can listen free!).

A tiny bookstore in an equally tiny town? Sure. Wh A tiny bookstore in an equally tiny town? Sure. Why not. Joshua Hart is determined to make it a success--to share his love of reading with his community. And it will... if the crazy baker (with the amazing cinnamon rolls) across the street will quit blocking his store's existence with her behemoth of a vehicle pointing everyone to those (yes, totally amazing but come on!) cinnamon rolls!
It's a battle royale and a bit of loathe-to-love all rolled into one town fighting to stay alive. Milton and Atticus do their part to reframe his business plan into something that'll work... and yeah. They're doing that matchmaking thing. Can you blame them? With a name like Honey, she's got to be perfect for him.
