She'erah's Legacy, by Naomi Craig the newest novel in the Yahweh's Legacy series, releases on Tuesday, and boy does it promise to pack a punch!  Nestled in a long line of "begats" is a tasty little morsel about a woman building three cities.  A woman. In the days of the patriarchs. It kind of makes Continue Reading

Will You Forgive Me if I Call This Series One of Biblical Proportions?

Of all the books that would drag me back into Biblical Fiction, one about the cities of refuge in the Old Testament written by Connilyn Cossette seems unlikely. But it was, and now she has a new series that looks into four cousins who run off to fight with King Saul!  Um... WHAT?  I don't know about Continue Reading

Letters from My Sister Luesse

Don’t You Love a Story Full of Family, Secrets, Suspense, and Intrigue?

With a title like Letters from My Sister, I knew Valerie Luesse's upcoming release would be an instabuy the moment I saw the stunning cover. After chatting with her about all the nuances in this book, if I hadn't already been convinced, this conversation would've done it. Suspense, intrigue, Continue Reading

What Do You Do When You’re Offered the Chance at a Dream Come True?

Why Did I Give This Series a Makeover with Exciting New Covers?

A mysterious creature roams the woods of medieval England, much to the horror of superstitious villagers. Always clad in a cloak that conceals all, the creature has never been seen, but rumors abound. Nearly twenty years ago, I created my own world set near the little English town of Seascale not Continue Reading

Can I Be More Excited about a New Middle-Grade Book?

This might be my favorite line from Take Cover so This might be my favorite line from Take Cover so far (although it is almost tied with one about taking out predators!). I think I like it most because Liv is imagining what this guy would say if she asked why he never tries to get his wife to go shopping or to the spa. She's right, too. He 100% would want her around as much as she wanted to be. 4% done... 96 to go. It goes up for preorder at the halfway point!
